Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use before using this site. If you do not agree to them, please do not use this site. You agree to these terms if you access or use this site by doing any of the following, including, but not limited to downloading, storing in cache, displaying or copying any materials on this site.

Site content

The information contained in this site does not constitute professional advice. As such, no reliance should be placed on any of the contents of this site. bpresent will not be responsible for any decision or action taken in reliance of any information, opinion and/or advice found on this site. It is your responsibility to evaluate the accuracy and usefulness of all information found on this site and apply your own judgment, skill and care when using or relying on any of the information.
While many precautions are taken by us, bpresent does not guarantee that files available for downloading from this site will not be contaminated by viruses, worms, Trojan horses or other codes which manifest contaminating or destructive properties.
bpresent reserves the right to edit, delete or refuse to post for public viewing any materials supplied to bpresent.
bpresent shall endeavour to ensure the privacy of the information you provide but shall not accept any responsibility in the event a third party illegally penetrates our systems and obtains access to the information.

Third Party Information

bpresent shall not be responsible for the content in any of the bpresent member sites including but not limited to their contact particulars, plans, prices or discounts.
Reference to any products, services, hypertext links to third parties and information attributed to third parties does not constitute or imply bpresent's endorsement, sponsorship or recommendation.
bpresent accept no responsibility for any content of any third parties' sites linked from this site or any other sites which provide a link to this site.

Site failure

bpresent shall not be liable for any direct or consequential loss or damage suffered in the event that a server is down, a site fails to respond or appears not to be functioning for whatever reason.

Framing and Linking

You must not frame any of the material appearing on this site (if you do not know what this means then do not worry - you are not doing it).
You may create links to individual pages found at this site. However, be advised that we do very occasionally change page names so we suggest that you link to one of the higher level pages or ask us for assistance.
You must not create a direct link to any file found at this site other than a web page. For example, you must not link to any image, mp3, document etc. We detect that this occurs from our web logs and we will take legal action if necessary (it is a form of theft).

Legal Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales Australia and any litigation for any matter relating to the agreement to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state or federal laws of New South Wales Australia.

Privacy Policy

Please note that this notice should be read in detail before using this site.
bpresent is concerned about protecting your privacy. This policy sets out how we handle any personal details we collect (eg. email addresses), web traffic recording data (web logs) and cookies.

Your personal details

We will only record your personal details (such as your name, phone number and email address) if you send it to us using one of our enquiry or contact forms, or in an email or terrestrial correspondence.
The details will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided it, and you will not be added to a mailing list (unless you expressly request it).
We will not use your details for any other purpose and will not disclose it without your consent.
Electronic mail submitted to bpresent is handled and saved according to the provisions of the Privacy Act 1988 (refer to the Guide to Privacy for Small Business produced by The Office of the Federal Privacy Commissioner (Australia) for more details of our obligations under this Act).

Web traffic data

When you visit a bpresent web site, our web servers make a record of your visit and log the following information for statistical and security purposes:
*   the server address of your internet service provider,
*   the web addresses of the pages at our site your visit and the documents, images and other data (eg. mp3 files) you view or download,
*   the date and time of the visit,
*   the type of browser you are using (eg. Internet Explorer, Netscape).
We do not have access to any data that uniquely identifies you or the physical location you are viewing our site from.
We routinely examine this information to determine the traffic through our servers, to find the most popular pages at our site, and, perhaps most importantly, to determine if malicious users are attempting to gain access to our databases.

Cookies

A cookie is a piece of data which is sent from our web server to your web browser when you access certain pages (usually forms) at our site. The cookie is stored on your machine, but it is not an executable program and cannot do anything to your machine. All bpresent cookies are short term and/or session cookies and "expire" quite quickly, usually in about 20 minutes.
We use cookies for two reasons. Firstly to retain your selected preferences while you are moving about the site. Secondly, we use them as a security measure to ensure that a page is being visited by a person and not by a malicious (spam producing) robot.

Disclosure and Publication of Information

We do not publish any of the information you provide to us, unless of course you are providing it to us as part of the process of creation of a web site for you, in which case we will only publish it as agreed with you.
In short, no information you provide us will be used or disclosed by us either without your consent or as required by law.
We are concerned about internet privacy (as eBusiness Consultants it is one of our key specialty areas) and we strongly recommend that you avail yourself of the information provided in the Office of the Federal Privacy Commissioner's On-line Privacy Tools. (Some of the free tools mentioned there are also useful precautions against "worm" viruses.)
